Her damn "shopping" delayed my commute home - they couldn't run the buses out of DC to VA through the streets they closed. What crap!

I had brunch at Commander's this past Sunday, the 25th, and also had those scrambled eggs, crabmeat, aparagus and red peppers - very good! I hope they keep that on the menu for awhile. Yummy!

I saw the above on tripsmarter.com to get discounts on various restaurants in New Orleans. I guess these are similar to those on restaurant.com. I posted a question to them if they work the same as restaurant.com re no alcohol, etc.

I called today, 4/9 - he is still the executive chef there.

FYI, they also told me he is off most Mondays and Tuesdays.

Has anyone been to Muriel's since Chef Gus Martin has taken over? I read a couple of positive reviews on other boards since he has taken over. We have been there in the past and thought it to be okay but have not returned for the past few years. We have enjoyed his food while he was at Dickie Brenna...
