We went to La Provence on Saturday the food and service were excellent. I tasted evertything that was brought out to the table and it was all good
We ordered:
Cauliflower and curry soup - Very Good and Creamy
Butter Lettuce Salad with Goat Cheese croutons, This was good but a plate of just the croutons would have been better.
Beets and Lumpcrabmeat salad - Excellent
Chantrelle Mushroom Tartin - This was awesome, toasted bread topped with a chantrelle mushroom sauce, blanched asparagus, and sunny side up egg.
Foie Gras - This was a take on Crepes Suzette with Foie Gras, Very Good.
Duck - Done well
Gulf Fish with Crabmeat and brown butter - Very simple, very good, they served it with an Artichoke bottom that had been nicely prepared.
For Dessert - Chocolate Cream Brulee, a citrus panna cotta, and Bread pudding. All Very good.
They served thier famous Pate' with some fancy corn muffins, very nice treat during the meal
The new Chef and his wife are doing a nice job over there, I recommend checking it out.
