Rio Mar thanks

That's a thank you to you, the fine folks in this forum.
Had a last-minute N.O. dining date last night; due to the late start (and all of the heart doctors in town) we couldn't get into DC's choice of Herbsaint.
No prob: I pulled your talk of Rio Mar out of the mental miasma and as a result we had a fine meal. DC is a picky vegan -- to her credit it is a health choice -- and Chef Garcia cheerfully whipped up a tasty veggie Arroz for her.
Me? Cevice app. which I think was the Panamanian: served in coconut milk with habanero. DC wolfed down half of it (tee hee). Hangar steak for entree: and as y'all suggested, it rocked.
And that dish was all mine. I'm such a pig
