In advance of the Alabama Game

Post by bam bam »

and despite playing Tulane this weekend, bam bam is getting on the LSU bandwagon. Anything to get Penn St in the BCS Championship Game. I plan to wear a Ryan Perriloux Jersey (I got mine 80% off.) on the 8th.

GEAUX TIGERS.

Unless of course, Texas Tech beats Texas this weekend.

Well hell, I was thinking LSU might keep it within two touchdowns, but now that you will be pulling for LSU, we might lose by 28 points.

BTW, I would love for PSU to make it to the championship game. Joe Pa deserves this as a final sendoff. As long as they don't play USC, I would be happy with whoever they face.

Personnaly: Texas, LSU, PSU - all close, no romps or runaways.

Iowa is PSU's strongest remaining rival. and looking at the body language of Daryll Clark last week, when he was taken out of the game after producing very little, he seems to be "all me" and not much of a "team player".

Doesn't LSU have too many losses to make it to the championship game?

Technically speaking, no. They had two losses last year and made it.

Realistically they are out. Too many good teams this year ahead of them, a few of which will probably end up undefeated.
I look for LSU to lose at least one more, maybe two more.

I guess since others had "bad" seasons last year having losses was not as big a factor as this year. I thought I had seen some unbeatens...

btw....did anyone else stay up to see the Texas-Texas Tech game?! Talk about an exciting ending........
