Bozo's Sold

It's official, Bozo's son-in-law is the new owner of the restaurant along with a close friend of his. Bozo will still be in the picture a few days a week, opening oysters at the bar and keeping an eye on the new owners. Nothing will change. Business as usual.
The restaurant first opened in 1928 on St. Ann Street just off N. Broad and moved to its Metairie location on 21st Street during the mid 80s.

I can't believe no one responded to this. I also can't believe "The Dean" didn't report it first! (They probably don't comp him anymore). Bozo's is still the best oyster house in town!

In other words, they will "act like nothing happened."

Bozo's is another of those NO institutions that I've never been too, and it blows me away how MANY of them there are!!
My girlfriend and I talked about going on Sunday but weren't sure if they were open.

Jeeves, do you think it's feasible (close enough and fast enough) for a lunch for JAG and me? She has to get back to work, so we can't be too long.

Get there early and give yourselves about an hour. They open at 11 a.m.
