French Food Fest This Weekend

The 35th annual French Food Fest in Larose takes place this weekend....the weather should be nice after this cool front makes it through. Lots of good food & proceeds support a nonprofit park & community center.

I will be there Saturday for lunch for the Seafood Gumbo, Shrimp Po-Boys, Pork Routee, Gratons, Hogshead Cheese, Fried Fish & White Beans, Oyster Po-Boys, and Fried Crab Claws. And in that order. Of course I may share some of this with my wife and friends.......maybe. We usually bring a crew of about a dozen people and meet my wife's family (from Larose) there.


It is, by far, my favorite food festival.
