Bayou Coffee House

Post by Gourmondo »

I've been trying most of the spots in this area for lunch since I work in that area sometimes. I have been about three or four times to Bayou Coffee House. Bottom line is, don't go here if you want to get a quick bite and leave. Everything has been passable, but the service is really slow. The last time I went I waited for nearly 25-30 minutes for a plate of red beans during the noon hour. On a Monday, for Chrissakes. If you want to hang out for a one hour kaffeeklatsch I am sure it's fine. I used to wonder why there was never anyone there; now I know.

I passed by this place during the Susan Koemen run on Sunday morning. Seemed like an interesting place and I was wondering why I had never heard of the place. Now I know.
