Chris is Cooking Again

Post by paz5559 »

Got this email today, and thought I would pass it along:

[INDENT]Hello friends,

I suspect that many of you read the blog I write, so please forgive me for the
redundancy, but I will be firing up the grill at St. James Cheese Co. this
Saturday, Aug. 9th, from 12-3 (or later, if supplies linger...) with 5 little
dishes from either the grill or the fryer, all featuring cheese in some crazy
way or other.

Just in case, you missed it, here's my most recent blog, in which all is
revealed
http://chefcdb.livejournal.com

It looks like I might be doing this the rest of the Saturdays in August, and
Rich & Danielle are really being sweet to let me make a little extra money with
this series, so please show up and also buy some terrific cheese from them while
you drop for my madness.

Thanks for your ongoing interest and I sure hope to see you at St. James!

Six of us went last Saturday. We got there early so we could snag a couple tables inside. We also brought in 6 bottles of wine, so it was a nice afternoon.

We tried at least one of everything Chris made, a cheese plate and 2 charcuterie plates. It was a very nice lunch.

If Chris is there again this weekend, I'll definitely try to stop by.

The eggplant balls were the best! If he's got them, you have to try them
I love it when Chef Chris is in his groove, he just smiles and floats around the room. It's great to watch.

Count me in for Saturday. I want to see these eggplant balls.
I like kids. They taste like chicken.

JaG, you've described Chef Chris perfectly!

I did see the pics from that lunch. The grilled peaches looked fabulous too. How were they?

Isa, the grilled peaches were awesome. Bacon, cheese, yum. Neuske's bacon....always yummy!

I hope to see you there Mrs Fury.

Great pictures!

That's a place I've got to visit when I return to NOLA. ;)
