So what happens to the poor schmuck that was named to replace him at QB? I think it's incredibly selfish of Favre to do this.

This still can go three different ways. I'm for the trade.

Let Favre show he still has the right stuff (if he has) with another team that needs help.

Let Rodgers show why he's so much better for GB (if he is) than Favre.

I hear that the rest of the GB team wants Favre back, while the new coach thinks he is usless. Could be a lot of people will be proved wrong or right this season. Sit back and enjoy the fun. ;)

GB's coach is entering his 3rd season with GB. Who is the new coach you are referring to?

I guarantee you the Packers will release him at the end of training camp. No way they pay him $12m to ride the pines.

Ummm, was a gamer! He knows it, the team knows it, the fans (well, all but you) know it.

Sure, he probably has a game or 2 left in the tank. No doubt. But he throws to the opposite colored jerseys enough, especially in the big games, to warrant his continued retirement.

I feel badly for the GB fans. They are truly good and neither want nor deserve this media circus.
