Hi everyone, It is that time again. Saturday, October 23 is the date for
the Herb Society's fall plant sale. It will be held for 9am til 3pm at my home
- 2202 General Pershing Street. The plants will arrive on Wednesday, October
20 around 10:30am. If it is more convenient, you are invited to call and if I
am home, come over. My number is 504.615.5357. We will have lots of culinary herbs as well as butterfly plants and other annuals and perennials. Feel free to forward this to any one you know who would be interested. Thanks, Anne

Thanks, Gourmondo. I've been to a couple of these now, one fall and one spring, and they are terrific.

Lawd girl I still have herbs from our herb exchange at J'Anita's! I can't believe you ran out of herbs.

Do you have to be a society member to participate in the sale? I'll be OOT that weekend but would love to make a purchase earlier in the week.

These are bedding plants, to grow fresh. That exchange was dried stuff from Penzey's.... The herb sale also has all sorts of beautiful other bedding plants - veggies, flowers - and the people working there are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

That was fun, that exchange. Looked downright illegal.
