Where's Creighton?
If you watched tonight's Treme episode you will know what I am talking about. Did he or didn't he? I have read elsewhere that Goodman signed on for at least 20 series so I would find it odd if he didn't, ummm, resurface.
Simon does so much of the little stuff right it is a refreshing series. (eg a mockingbird chirping in the background as Davis lay with Janette; seagulls calling out on the Riverwalk scenes).

It was another good one, for sure. I think he resurfaces, probably unwillingly.

Re: Where's Creighton?
I went to bed really sad. It used to be The Pacific would bring me down then Treme would cheer me back up. Last night's Treme made me sad. When I saw that no one could see him on the Ferry I knew he was going to dissapear. Why was he on the ferry anyway?
I did get a new favorite word last night though "ghetto-ize!"

We need to get t-shirts. "It's Lent. The Legs Are Closed."
He clearly jumped. It's not nearly as tough to figure out as say the last scene of The Sopranos. While I largely disliked the character and found him to be a fairly humorless blowhard, I have to say I was really disturbed by the scene. The Mardi Gras episode, I could watch again and again. This one if I don't watch it ever, I think I will be ok. The final scene prior to Creigh jumping was just haunting. I think I would have handled watching Sonny take an ax to Annie much better.
Creigh's last meal was a Po Boy. Take that Fatzo.

Re: Where's Creighton?
Bam, I'll buy one when you get them printed up!
I just re-watched the episode. I really like this one. Better than the Mardi Gras Day episode. I still think Creighton didn't jump off of the ferry. I think he wanted to disappear for a bit but I think he is alive. Either that or the writers are going to employ a "flashback-like" vehicle to explain the scene.
Or perhaps I am just naive.

Re: Where's Creighton?
I'm guessing he's gone/jumped.
A friend pointed out the significance of "The Awakening" book discussion in his class - and the ending of that book. I've not read the book so I didn't make the connection. It adds to the speculation, and adds something more to the theory of suicide.
I don't like it though.

Re: Where's Creighton?
All signs point to he jumped, but like bayou and everyone else, I don't want to believe it. Damn it was powerful though. It's still got me in a funk and everyone is still talking about it.

I think he jumped. I am surprised they didn't have more suicides. I knew several people who committed suicide within months after Katrina. Two of them were doctors.
Goodman was billed as a featured guest star. And in real life, he just lost 100#. Doubt they'll have him back unless it's some ghostly character.
