What dinners or events are you all attending? We going to the Antoines dinner. The food at Antoines really does not excite me, but we are going for a special friend. The wines are from Trinchero Napa Valley. Any good?

Why do people get married during NOWFE? Or football season for that matter but that's a whole other topic.
I'm going to GW Fins wine dinner. The menu looks amazing. The only other great sounding menu is Commander's but I really want to be in the quarter.
I'd go to the grand tasting Saturday but like I said...I'll be at a wedding instead.
I'd go to the grand tasting Sunday, but I'm going to a wine dinner at Delmonico that night so that's a bit much, even by my standards.

I have a friend in town Friday only so we will be going to that Grand Tasting. I like the time change. We will miss the seafood cookoff at the tasting on Saturday but now that I read Paula Deen will be there I am not that disappointed.

Yep, Friday. They used to do a champagne brunch or something on Sunday but I haven't seen that in a few years.
