Le Foret revisited

We dined again Fri. evening. Both the Ala Carte and tasting menus had some changes. My choice was Ala carte however, I acquiesced and went with the tasting once again.
Amuses remained basically the same. Tuna tartar replaced the lobster in the trio. Clean, fresh and fabulous. Blood orange gelee palate cleanser was absent.
The changes:
1st: Sweetbread feuillette with wild mushrooms. Decadently rich and delicious.
2nd: Venison replaced last week's duck in the terrine. I much preferred the duck, my husband liked the venison.
4th: Brie beignet with shaved white truffles. A misnomer. Essentially a chunk of deep fried brie. Didn't work for me. This from a cmc, come on.
