I just finished putting the turkey's on the smoker (not too cold but it's really windy...hard time lighting the coals!) and that will be my contribution to our family dinner.
Along with the cauliflower, oyster dressing, ham...almost like Thanksgiving, part II with a few twists!

My friend has meatballs and spaghetti for their traditional dinner.

What do you cook? Lunch, dinner or linner?

JAG's lasagna.

We're having beef bourguignon but since I don't eat red meat, I guess I'm having salad and buttered noodles. Maybe the Cristal will help.....

Fried turkey, oyster, mirlaton/shrimp and cornbread dressings, sweet potato pone, haricots verts, the obligatory rice and peas my mother insists on having. Pralines, fudge, pecan and pumpkin pies with hard sauce.

Nothing fancy but brings back childhood memories.

Christmas Eve-Dinner: Shrimp Remoulade, Pasta Aglio Olio, Angus NY Strips, Lobster, Becnel Farms Fresh Broccoli, Ruffino Chianti.

Christmas-Dinner: Shrimp Remoulade, Fried U10 Shrimp, Roasted Yukon Golds, Artichoke Casserole. Wine selection will come after wife awakens from short winters nap.

No firm dessert plans.

Headed to the Atlantis Casino/Hotel for their Christmas Buffet. Did the same two years ago (see pic).

Oldest daughter flew to Zurich Christmas Eve. Middle daughter all Grinchy this Christmas. Youngest lives in Vancouver, BC, and started new job (finally) Dec. 21st, after recovering from a concussion accident at work last March. So we're two old people on our own this year. Made a large pot of cabbage soup about a week ago, finished leftovers Christmas Eve.

Both a boneless stuffed pork loin roast, and shrimp stuffed mirliton. And we went cellar diving in the white box, and paired them with Cakebread and Beringer Napa Reserve Chardonnays that were getting a bit long in the tooth.

My first year to cook dressing. Tossed the first try a few days ago due to a sage disaster referred to in another thread. But second batch came out fine. I cooked the turkey (only my 2nd) and I even made gravy with the turkey drippings! I've tried gravy many times but only had luck once. Seems if no one is in the kitchen with me, I can actually cook.
My sister Alice is in big trouble though. When my husband called, she informed him that I knew how to cook. He thinks I'm going to start cooking now:eek:
My brother made a honey baked ham, his girlfriend made potato salad, my other sister the mac & cheese. Nephew's girlfriend was supposed to bring the green beans but she forgot to cook.
We had 11 people all together. 5 of us played dominoes for 4 hours after. Then we had the usual way too many desserts.

Rib Room for Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day: Turkey, Crown Pork, Eggplant w/Shrimp, Squash w/chestnuts, Brussels w/blue cheese and walnuts, Carrot Souffle (Picadilly take out), pumpkin bread, and way too many desserts.

Boxing Day: Filet and Lobster
