I have to vent. Listening to TF yesterday somebody called in and said "who dat". Well you can imagine what his response was. He really made an ass of himself. For a person that claims he loves the city, he should support the Saints. It brings in money for the restaurants, shopping, tourism, etc. He owes the Saints, the fans and our city an apology. I just called the program manager and complained. He should be taken off the air. I did post on his forum but by now I'm sure it has been deleted.

Good for you, kiddo. As I don't listen to the windbag, I don't know what his response was. Having suffered his company in the past, I can venture a guess.

I called the station and left a vm with the station manager. I will keep calling until a get a response.

One would think someone born on Mardi Gras day would have a little love for the Saints, but in this case I guess not. One must remember that TF felt the re opening of Commander's Palace was more of a boost for the city then the re opening of the Dome.

I just called again and spoke with Todd Menesses assistant. She is going to have him call me and agreed that he shouldn't be negative. Now TF is saying it was a joke. He such an idiot. I bet he would change his mind if the S aints wanted to do an Eat Club at the training camp. Of course they would have to pay him under the table like all the other restaurants do.

Todd just called me back. He was very nice and apologetic. Said he knows he hates sports and was going to talk to him about cooling it with the Saints comments. He did say a few other things but I would rather not say but you can figure it out.

In my estimation, which of course means nothing, TF's biggest flaw is that he enjoys humor at the expense of others. This instance - making public fun of someone - along with his totally inane April's Fool joke are just two examples.
It may be his "schtik", but it is at someone else's expense....and that makes him lower than pond scum in my food chain. It's not good form to "poke mock at" or ridicule others for a laugh...especially when it's done so acerbically.
