At one time, the TP Food Section was a highlight of the paper.
Now, well . . . you know.

Maybe one day it return, but how do you replace
someone like Leon Soniat & Miriam Guidroz?

Do you follow other newspapers food sections?
I used to closely follow the Miami Herald for recipes provided.
NYT as well as a few others I can't think of right now.

I'd love some URLs of the papers you follow who have decent food sections.

Newspapers are on the way out, at least it seems that way. It's ashamed, because I remember watching my grandma (who was an outstanding cook) pull out newspaper clipped recipes that she had in an old picture album. I guess the internet, being the wealth of information that it is has eclipsed everything else as the go to place for recipes.

Maybe so Jesse. I started clipping out recipes when I around 11 or 12.
Used to be I'd bring home a food section from cities to which I've travelled.

But, there's nothing wrong with technology. I'm really happy to read a
paper online. And that's what I'm looking for . . . a little local color.

For instance, The Miami Herald usually has some good recipes that are flavorful enough for a New Orleanian. Sometimes tho, even more interesting to me than the recipe is reading about how the recipe evolved.
I love a good story around around food & culture!
