Try mixing a small spoon of Vietnamese Garlic Sauce in your melted butter...toss popcorn in a large paper bag with parmesan cheese...

My buddy, an air traffic controller, tells me they sautee diced jalapeño and garlic in your choice of oil/butter/margarine and then add the kernel popcorn to it and pop it.
I'm going to have to try that.
