Warehouse District Pizza

Post by chefairline »

Is it still around? I was getting on the expressway at Magazine to head to the westbank when I noticed that there building looked vacant. It was my favorite pizza.

I read they were closing a while ago. We always tried to order from them but they never had a delivery guy available, even though they advertised they deliver. I also read some not so nice things about the owner.
I like kids. They taste like chicken.

No great loss. The place was a sewer and while the pizza was good, you paid through the nose for it. Plus the delivery guy never worked and when you went to pick the pizza up, it was never ready.

Only regret: Someone else should take up the concept of "Regular" versus "Spicy" Pizza sauce. I like that idea.

I agree. IMO, that is what made it so good, along with the roasted garlic.

I also agree that the owner, through observation, was a tough cookie. Other concerns was not an issue since we always ate it. I disagree with "the sewer" comment.
