Went to Pelican Club Sunday night. They are doing their coolinary special. A very reasonable price of $33.00 for a three course dinner. They also have a four course dinner.
Again it was freaking HOT Sunday night, so I could not bear ordering a three or four course dinnner. Almost too hot to eat!
I had the lobster special. It was good, not as good as I had it when they did it last summer. It came with shrimp and scallops and very good thing green beans. Nothing wrong with it, just not a wow effect as I remembered.
Appetizer I had the goat cheese salad, and that was a major wow. The goat cheese was so so good.
Husband had the escargots in puff pastry appetizer. Too hot for me, so I didn't even taste it. He said it was excellent.
His entree was the duck, which I know is very good. I had that a few months ago.
