Had sushi bros for dinner tonight but still wanted some dessert. Nothing on their menu really appealed to me. What do you guys like to have for dessert after consuming massive amounts of raw protein?

Bam, I really don't want dessert after sushi.
It's usually always so satisfying that there is really no craving for dessert.

I've also stopped going to Sushi Bros because of the mgr being rude to me.
Have you ever encountered anything like this there?

We always had such good service & we love the food, but the last few times were not so pleasant in atmosphere (arguing amongst the staff in the dining room, pushy waiter, cig smoke galore pumped in from the employee break room, etc).

I think if I did want dessert that gelato or Italian ice or even a snoball would be it. Something light & refreshing.

I find that a few pieces of BBQ eel (unagi) without rice is a sufficient dessert for sushi.

I agree with Isabella. I too seldom have room for dessert, particularly after several "good" rolls. On of my favorite places throws in a free, small, one-dip bowl of Green Tea Ice Cream. That "does the trick" when I have room for it.

Isa, I like the food at Sushi Brothers a lot. A few times after it changed from Tokyo Bistro to Sushi Bros the service was bad but I never had a major problem like what you are saying. I have been in recently and the service was much much better. I'd say give it another shot if you are willing.

So Bam Bam, did you find something satisfying for dessert?

Many places provide (free) a half orange hollowed out and filled with ice cream.

It was very indulgent and succulent.

I was thinking about that the other night when we were at Sushi Brothers. I didn't even notice what they had on the menu but I usually am too full after sushi for dessert. I thought about it and a piece of angel food cake sounds good to me.
That was my first time there. I was too busy talking with my niece and great-nephew to notice the staff. But their menu is exactly like Little Tokyo on Causeway. Do they have the same owners?

I am with buzd. I generally eat unagi sushi for a desert. If the sushi joints here would give a singe scoop of green tea ice cream I would eat that. But you have to buy it and it seems less than three scoops is an insult in their eyes. My standard order on trying a new joint is sweet shrimp sushi, Chirasi, and unagi
