Are you doing any of the events?

We'll be at the Rib Room Vintner's dinner on Wednesday and the Friday night Grand Tasting.

Galatoire's weds night, Reynolds Family wines. First choice was Commanders(Plumpjack), months ago they said I was on the waiting list, they called tues to tell me we were in: I said thanks but no thanks.

I'll be at Melange at the Ritz on Wednesday. (Cakebread Cellars)

I have never attended (nor do I have plans this time) any of the other events.

We've done the grand tasting and have found for the price, we're better off and more satisfied having dinner at a nice rest.

I find the quality of the wines to be far superior to the past 5 or 6yrs for the dinners this year.

This will be the first wine dinner I have missed in about 12 years. I really managed to f-ck my schedule for the entire month of May. But at least I have Vegas. I will always have Vegas.

I made sure I was in town this year so I could attend..but I'll be working for the events I was hoping to make...so none for me this year. I'm pretty bummed I'm missing the Vintner dinner and the Grande Tasting but what's a girl to do....

How'd everyone enjoy the dinners last night?

We had a blast. This was my first time at Melange but surely not my last. Very attentive and professional staff from beginning to end. The food was wonderful and I'm anxious to return.
The Cakebread was plentiful and as good as ever.

We also got a ditty bag upon arrival. Ladies got aprons, men got Cakebread caps. (I'm more of a cap person so I took a cap, too) We also rec'd a Ritz Carlton corkscrew and a Melange diner's card that I think gets us free parking and a discount on the meal....I can't remember for sure.

There were a large group of my friends at this same dinner and they said it was a great one. I wished I could have made it.
