Fat Hen Grill

The GF and I decided to give Fat Hen Grill a try on our way to the Palace Theater for a movie. It was a Sunday evening and all of the booths, except for one was full. We chose the booth. There was only 1 waitress working, so the service was a bit slow, but not too bad. She was pretty good at handling the place.
We ordered the artichoke bread app, the chop salad for me, and the Camp Street sandwich for her. All 3 items came out at the same time. The artichoke bread did NOT contain any artichokes. It was bread with a red sauce, hearts of palm, breadcrumbs, and then a layer of provolone cheese. We were confused by this but we each decided to try a piece. It just wasn't very good with the hearts of palm. When the waitress came back to refill my tea, I asked her why there weren't any artichokes on the "artichoke" bread and she said that they'd been changing items lately and that they use hearts of palm now instead of artichoke. I told her they should note that on the menu, b/c we would not have ordered the dish. She told us to write that down on the comment card she would give us with the check. We didn't eat anymore of the bread as we really didn't like it.
The salad was ok. Nothing spectacular.I did think it was overpriced at $11.99 The GF said her sandwich was good. It contained corned beef, ham, bacon, and cheddar on a roll.
Our total was about $31.00 not including tip. I thought this was a little pricey for what we got. We may try this place again(only if we're headed to the movies again on a Sunday b/c Kyoto2 is closed on Sundays), but I think I'll try a burger next time. We did think the waitress should have offered to take the "artichoke" bread off of the bill since she didn't mention it was heart of palm bread when we ordered it and we didn't like it.
Overall, not too impressed. Maybe a good breakfast or burger place.
