It's no secret that I have a Love/Hate relationship with New Orleans. And this weekend all I can say is I LOVE IT! It's the being a homeowner and having to deal with BS that brings on the hate part, but with my newest $33 Entergy bill, the beautiful weather, amazing live music and fantastic food...what's not to love.

I guess Chris Rose is back on his meds. He really needs to get those biorhythyms in line. But I digress. I was at the Hornets game. The crowd sucked. Now I wasn't expecting the Superdome on Monday Night Football after Katrina but from the first quarter and really late into the 4th, the crowd at the Zurich Classic had to be more excitable.

I think the NBA hosed us with the scheduling. C'mon! A noon game on JazzFest/Zurich Classic/Draft Fest/Parish Fair/1st Communion weekend?? My guess is that many fans were still hung over from Friday night. Then, after Denver took a 14pt. lead in the 1st Q I bet many of the fans were wondering why they gave up the many other event options they had a chance to attend. I'm glad they won but West better find his shot again.

Hijack off.
Sorry.

Yep, KD, the more you get into this town the more it gets into you. And I just read that October is actually a busier month with respect to festivals. (Statewide, I think) Amazing.

You know I was sitting next to Lil' Wayne at the game and I said something similar to him. "Nothing like a noon start in New Orleans to kill our home court advantage." Lil' Wayne replied "Fo shizzlie, tha whizzle." And I was all like whatever.

Re the Hornets, who schedules a game at noon with JF? We ate our tix. Unfortunately had to purchase the payoff pkg. before the schedule came out. Just our luck they'll play again next Sat. night when we'll be at the CAC.
