Fair Grounds looks ready

Just got back form the Fair Grounds and all looks ready for tomorrow. People were scurrying around, but for the most part, the place looks ready to host the big event.
A little warm today, but otherwise, perfect weather for the festival.
It is an amazing transformation that takes place over just a few weeks out there.

Flight in was completely full. Had to sit in the jumpseat but in my case it was due to idiotic utilization of resources and less to event popularity. (one is fixed, the other is not)

It is. The first time I went to the races a few years ago, it was amazing. I had only been to the Fairgrounds during JF. You also get a real appreciation for how far and fast those horses run when you consider the trek from Gentilly to Acura.
