Muriel's/Chef Gus Martin Question

Has anyone been to Muriel's since Chef Gus Martin has taken over? I read a couple of positive reviews on other boards since he has taken over. We have been there in the past and thought it to be okay but have not returned for the past few years. We have enjoyed his food while he was at Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse and Ralph's on the Park.

Don't hold me to it but I think Gus Martin has left Muriel's.

Their menu on line as of 4/2/09 still has him listed as executive chef. I will call. Thanks.
I called today, 4/9 - he is still the executive chef there.

Good to know, the source who told me he was leaving was usually reliable, glad they were wrong.

Went last Sunday for brunch and it was outstanding. Never was a fan Pre-K, but love the place now. Must be the chef:)

FYI, they also told me he is off most Mondays and Tuesdays.
