Best way to ship beer?

I wanted to send a case of Abita's strawberry lager to my sister. Is there anyplace that does this for you or any advise on the best way to send it would be greatly appreiciated.

Pack each bottle in bubble wrap, leak proof bags and double box them.
Don't tell your shipper what's in the package as most will not take liquids and or alcohol with a special permit.

I would use UPS...not the post office.

I tried that once, it did not work either at UPS or Fedex, they have some kind of scanner that they know its liquid, and would not send it.

Try the method Jeeves will tell you about, it worked for me last year.
