So what are your top three these days?
I have moved Joe Seppie's to #1
#2 Parkway
#3 Radosta's
I dropped the Little Red Wagon out of the top three.

Up here on the Northshore, I've been eating a lot of Rags and their Roast Beef Po-boy is usually what I get, and it's damn good. Mandina's is also up there for me.

I'd say my three are:
1) Parasols'- the best.
2) Parkway- Good but definitely second best
3) Any of the others mentioned. The above two are the best. There are other good ones though but I tend to stick to Parasol's usually.

I just had an almost perfect 10 inch roast beef at Mr. Poor Boy's on Jefferson Hwy. in Reefer Ridge. It was loaded with tender "real" roast (real meaning house cooked, not sliced from some deli nub and dumped into canned gravy). It had just the right amount of shredded lettuce, tomato and pickle. And the gravy was very good. It would have been perfect if the bread would have been seeded. $6.50
I don't know if this is the "best" roast beef in the city but it was the best one I've had in a while. And that includes Come Back Inn, Village Inn, and Radosta's.....all of which are pretty good.

I had a pretty good one at Mahoney's today. Parasol's is good, Parkway's doesn't do much for me - but I will be the first to admit I am not a RB po-boy fanatic. I have actually had a decent one at Ignatius on Magazine, strangely enough. Johnny's in the Quarter is pretty good.

I nearly killed myself on the debris style RB at Rivershack...dangerously close to home.
Joe Sepie's and R & O rank.

I'm out of the New Orleans picture right now, but has Crabby Jacks fallen off the local radar?

Not for me. Only problem is that they are my #1 spot for a fried shrimp po-boy. When I make that trip, I never even think of a RB.
