MiLa based on bambam's review and the fact that I have already been to Lillette several times and I havent' been to MiLa.

MILA is more inventive, and consistently is putting out new items. Lilette is more tried and true. Both are terrific, and you will not go wrong at either place.

I really liked Mila when I went there a couple months ago - they had a Farm Egg Ravioli app that was AMAZING... definitely get that if you go there. I also heard that Chris McMilliam (celebrated bartender, formerly of The Ritz-Carlton Library Bar) is working at the hotel, although I don't know if that front bar is connected to Mila or if it is for the hotel only.

TomFitz was talking about the Tian of Crabmeat at Mila yesterday on his show, he gives the place 5 stars!

I haven't been to Lilette in years... so can't comment.

I haven't been to MiLa yet but have heard wonderful things. I've been to Lilette and while I do like it very much, it's the same thing everytime. Not that that is a bad thing per se, but I like to try different, more inventive things when I go out.

So, my choice would be MiLa.

Chris McMillan is certainly full of himself but is very entertaining. The Ritz is beyond idiotic for making his bar a private club. In January he said that they had about 5 members who ponied up the dough for the "club."

I made a reservation at MiLa. Lilette has been a consistent "go to" restaurant since we first started going there, but I agree the menu could use some livening up.

Looking forward to MiLa.

Lilette is in the process of mixing up both of their menus.
