Puzzlement #1 - Vodka and Other Spirits

Does anyone know how low the outside temperature would have to drop, to freeze a bottle of vodka left in a car, possibly causing it to break (burst)?

I store my vodka in the freezer and it gets a little thick(syrupy) but never even close to freezing.

Thanks for that. My freezer temp. reads 0° F right now, so it's good at least that low.

According to the internet (therefore it is true), 80 proof vodka will freeze at -16.5 degrees (F), and 100 proof lower than that.

Thank you for that. I assume (be careful) that will apply to any 80 proof spirit. My hidden stock is safe in the car trunk.

These are the words of a failed chemistry student so take them with a box o' salt:
Presumably, any other impurities in the intoxicant of choice would also help to lower the freezing point as well.
Anyone who did better than a C+ in Chem 101 and Chem 102 is more than welcome to correct me!
