That building was the former Justine Plantation Home from the banks of Bayou Teche. It was not a law office, but the office of Pritchard Capital.

The original idea was for it to be a reception hall, run by Jeff Curtis. That never did firm up and Thomas Pritchard, one of the investors in the project, made it his corporate office.

I heard it had recently been sold, but have not confirmed this.

The Lake House if the Old Bechac's, adjacent to the west of Justine.

I think the Lake House might be open tonight. It will be a great addition to the lakefront/old Mandeville.

Iwas there for a wedding last night. Great venue, especially withthe added tents, etc. It was a blast. Best thing I tried food wise was the seafood cakes and the house smoked salmon.

They will be open Wednesday, Thuesday, Friday and Sunday, effective this week.
