Son brought a fried turkey, I also roasted a breast: injected w/ hot pepper garlic oil, seasoned w/ fresh rosemary, lemon zest, garlic and cracked pepper. App: Acapulco shrimp cocktail. Sides: roasted garlic mashed potatoes, andouille cornbread dressing, praline sweet potatoes, roasted asparagus, peas. For dessert I made key lime pie ( tip: cut the key limes in 1/2 and squeeze w/ a garlic press) topped w / whipped cream and raspberry sauce. Also made an ice cream bombe : raspberry and vanilla piped w/ choc. mousse and served w/ rasp. sauce. A lot of food. Not as much leftovers as anticipated.
