I knew you were going to say that!

What was the beer we had? It was great with the lamb.

Schwarzbier which is a black lager. I forget the brewer but it was good. You looked hot last night, btw.

I had the lamb, cheesy grits, and haricot vert special Saturday, and it was phenomenal!

How is the bourbon selection there? I have a long standing debt to Craig and if need be I will bring my own hooch to share. Is there any time that would be most likely for Craig to be there? I haven't seen or talked to him since our last pour at the original J'anita's.

Craig is there everyday Wed-Mon from 11-9...but he does go home to take a break between lunch and dinner...usually he and Kim switch off taking a break.

And no clue on the Bourbon. Leave it in the car and yall can go out for a "smoke" break....

EAC,

This place is a beer bar pure and simple. And it's not some scattershot bs. They have selected premium microbrews to pair with J'Anita's food. No single malts here. And if JAG wasn't in a sex crazed stupor, she'd be able to tell you Maker's Mark is the best you are going to do when it comes to Bourbon at The Avenue Pub.
