Just like chain restaurants and national real estate investments, etc, sometimes we need the deep pocket guys to make things run.

Hadacol, thanks! That was very educational. It confirmed what a lot of us thought. Now I feel really insignificant. Perhaps this is why I don't attend any more.

I very much enjoyed being able to purchase the Abita yesterday. Was very suprised to see the Jockamo IPA on the list, so I had three of them to start with.

I too partook of many many Abitas yesterday. Between the music and the wonderful weather.......the only thing that would have been better was a prime rib sandwich!!!

Excellent and informative post by Hadacol. I don't have much to add, other than it is pretty accurate to the best of my knowledge. It will make the swill taste even worse this weekend. But then again, I don't drink very much out there anymore (as opposed to most of my behavoir out there over the past 28 years, which included many drunken days).

Would anyone care to make a guess as to what Miller sells the beer to the jazzfest people for?
I heard yesterday that I group gets to keep $4.85 for every $96 case that we sell. That seems like a pretty small profit for us so I was curious as to who is making the big bucks off of the rip off of selling beer for $4 per can.
