Yep, meant to post you can't use coupons at the Lakeside store.
Their liquidator owns all the inventory.

If anyone goes there this week, please take a peek at the counter top ovens for me & tell me what the % off is at now.

I bought a temporary oven at BB & B for a song. I like it just fine for now, but unless I figure out something quickly, I'll be in the market for a heavy duty model before Thanksgiving. One save might be to get the Small Bar Pan from Pampered Chef. I bought the med sized bar pan for my previous counter top oven. This oven is just about an inch or two smaller & it won't fit. I swear by those things & hopefully it will help turbo charge this little oven.

I see Cuisinart stole my idea & they have a countertop oven called The Brick Oven. It has a pizza stone in it on the bottom & on each side. Ok, of course the brick oven is not my idea! But I've been using a pizza stone in my countertop for many years & it's one of my best kept secrets! Or so I thought. Give it a try!

I just passed my ancient Cuisinart on to my son. Still works fine. Bought a new one for myself. I have the Cuisinart mini chopper and yeah, it's pretty much useless except for chopping lots of garlic.

The Linens & Things here in Reno closed in July/August. Just leaves BB & B. I think Linens & Things is in deep do-do all over the country. They have already filed for bankruptcy.

NEW YORK - A Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by Linens 'n Things is the latest sign that the retail sector is becoming leaner and meaner amid a difficult consumer environment.

On Friday, the bedding- and home-furnishing retailer filed a petition in bankruptcy court in Delaware and said it would close 120 underperforming stores, almost a quarter of them in California.
