Warren Buffett bought $5 billion worth of Goldman Sachs, which should say something about what he thinks of their fundamentals, at least. He definitely isn't looking for the short-term play, if his past history is any guide, and it is.
Berkshire Hathaway had $31 billion in cash as of last week. Think Warren's been waiting for the flea market to open? Ummm....YES.
