sbu22,
I grew up in that area, and always went/go at off times early or right before lunch. No waiting. Never understood that whole waiting in line (at any place)...The eggs benedict w/fried green tomatoes with a side (enough for 2 people IMO) is $9 or 10. Salads are huge as well as pancakes.

That said, Taste is so subjective, what one person loves another loathes....Maybe you just don't like the food there. if everyone liked the same thing it would be boring!

Hobbes,
If I really want to try a place, no matter what anyone says (with the exception of maybe ONE person) I try it. So, if you want go, I say, do so!

You're right, BTG, but I did apologize. Not knowing the difference between oysters and shrimp is pretty bad. I know he is a favorite of Tom's so I should not have even made a post.

Suzy, the eggs and tomatoes sounds pretty good, think I will go and let you know how it was.

Hobbes,
Hope I wasn't confusing! I meant, if you wanted to try Webster's, try it. (I would if I was curious)

I haven't been to Russell's in a while, but there is one waitress who oddly only gives 2 choices for a side, when there are others (fries, sweet potato fries, etc) If you ever go, I'd suggest an off time, it does get busy.
