I can't figure out why we can't get Royal Red Shrimp here but they are fantastic.
I think the owners have a sister restaurant called Ribs and Reds nearby.
The Steamer is located at the junction of 59 and 82 behind an Alvin's Island or some other souvenir shop.
Roux, I saw Royal Reds recently (maybe Mon?).
I thought of you & meant to tell you.
I should have written myself a note!
I think it was at Whole Food, but the other options could have been Langenstein's or Breaux Mart.

But I really think it was WF, because I remember wondering if they were from AL. I didn't have time to ask.
I may need to go back today & if I do, I'll check it out.

I've yet to have Royal Reds tho & would love if you refreshed my memory on how you like to eat them.
And why . . . I think you said they were nice & sweet & very delicate. Is that right?

I have had luck recently at Geno's Fresh Catch in Orange Beach. Several good seafood offerings there. Haven't been since last summer, but will probably go next weekend if I don't do that weekend of Jazzfest.

Yay it has been added to the list of things longer than I have time to do. I'll manage. Thanks y'all.
