Cstoher...Fainted!? Hell, I've been in ICU the whole week!!!

From what I have read, LA does get a pass. It only applies to interstate sales. We will be able to eat all we want. Guess like Health Care, we can "opt-out." However...it will wipe out the industry*, as the millions of pounds shipped out of LA will ...DIE. Literally. Via one of two methods, they will DIE! You basically have the Motivatit (Vice Pres.Voisin's) Gold Band, and the AmeriPure, who's Patrick Fahey was on the tube last week expounding upon what a great product they have. B.S.!!!!!

*As stated by Sal Sunseri of P&J, and Tommy Citanovich of Drago's last week.

Bigshot can think what ever he thinks, but it is all politics, and it started about 10 years ago (when they started requiring the warning signs in restaurants.) Luckily, I read that Landrieu, Melancon and Vitter are working on stopping this, but it stinks to high heaven. As TD stated, how many THOUSANDS die each year from tobacco and alcohol? Shout out the number for us loud and clear Mr.Bigshot! Go to Japan...over 200 die each year from poisonous Blowfish eating Fugu. Apparently there is more Freedom in Japan than in the United Nanny States of America. Oh...and I DO think that Obama wakes up in the morning and destroys as much of EVERY industry that he possibly can. Well...right after he tries to figure out how to shut up Fox News! Can we all say... AZZCLOWN?????

There is a petition that you can sign via the web. I can supply the link if anyone is interested. Stand up people. Shout LOUD!

I admire anyone who can watch Fox News for over five minutes and not wet his or her pants. Just to recap: I am a registered independent, voted for Bush I and 2, worked my ass off for the likes of Bob Livingston and too many Republicans to hope to remember, have never smoked once in my life [could never understand anyone dumb enough to, including my father], have not been falling down drunk since I was 30 yrs. old. I am just an regular guy, but I cannot believe how much crap is blamed on Obama. Still don't think that he needs credit for the destruction of the oyster industry in La. Is anyone willing to admit that he was given a bag of **** to solve by our last President? Oh, and it is really fun to see what is going on around the country as a bunch of nut cakes try to take over a once great party.

Initial petition has closed:

Good News!
We've collected 2744 signatures so far in the petition and we now have combined our efforts directly with the Gulf Coast Oyster Industry to maximize the effectiveness of our message to the FDA.

We would greatly appreciate it if all signers of this petition proceed to http://www.saveourshellfish.org and sign the new petition. This issue is of vital importance to the livelihood and culture of the region, and the effects of an FDA ban would resonate on a national scale.

Thank you sincerely for your support, it means the world to many thousands of people.
