I don't listen to Tom's show any more, but I stumbled across it last Saturday when I was scanning the dial for college football. Tom fielded a query from a caller speaking in a fake, unfunny "hey bra" accent who asked Tom to recommend an Italian restaurant to propose to his girlfriend at, something better than their usual destination, the Olive Garden.

It was in all honestly the most pathetic, embarrassing attempt at a crank call I've ever heard. I felt sorry for the poor schmuck thinking he was being funny or that he was fooling Tom, who treated it like a legitimate call even though the guy couldn't even keep his story straight or make it sound even slightly believable.

Just thought I'd throw that out there...

Seems like that type of post would really gum up the sites search engine. Pretty much anything you search for will now lead you directly to that idiotic streaming post. Must have a thousand references to "beef" for instance.

It really seams like not only the "longest thread", but without question, the "dumbest thread." But, guess it is making money for The Man!

...and I don't think it will pass the size of the old Essence threads from TOB.

I wonder how many deletions will ensue?

Tom should be flogged for that Longest Food String On the Web. I love how he leaves town after starting that monstrosity.
