I plan to attend the Gert Town Market.

This market was really cool. It's tucked away, a little building where the produce was and the farming area surrounding. I loved it.

Isa, I asked and the cashier said who's playing and I can't remember. I thought the guy's name was on the card he handed me so I didnt commit it to memory but it's not. He said the guy plays on Wednesday nights at the Deck Bar or something....sorry.

I'll have a pic on facebook later of my loot. I got 2 canvas bags of stuff for aobut $30. Even Smith Creamery Milk and Butter. I'm a happy shopper today. Everything is so fresh and I can't wait to start cooking.

We love the Hollygrove Market. It's great that there's a market that actually specializes in produce and farm fresh eggs, milk and butter as opposed to, uh, jelly and pesto and muffins and popcorn. I had my doubts about the Buyer's Club concept, but it really does kind of push you to experiment and try new things and the quality of produce is amazing. We'll definitely be in attendance at Evening on the Farm.

Peychaud, you said it well. That's exactly what I liked about it. I pretty much love all fruits and veggies so it's no problem what is in the Buyer's Club box. And it makes me learn what to do with things I wouldn't normally pick up. It's great.

And I agree with the other Farmer's Markets in town and all the other 'stuff' they sell. I see there's a place for that but it's no what I am looking for.

I was excited to see fresh eggs too. I looked last year at all the markets in town and could never find them. I was glad to pick up Smith Creamery milk and butter too. I know I can get it at Rouse's, but I try to avoid our local grocery stores.

Not sure if Bam and I are going to the Evening event, it's a busy week. Guess we should figure it out, sounds like tickets are going fast.

Anyone else going?
