Best Raw Ersters on Sunday - CBD/FQ?

EC, I have a ton of respect for you posts (ala BamBam's post to me recently), but tell me, when you watch them shuck are they ice cold, plump, and full of oyster liquor, meaning that they shuck them horizontally so the liquor doesn't run out?

I've found that the best shuckers are at Bourbon House......and Bozo's. To be honest, I've never eaten oysters at the Sonesta.

yessss...the guy shucking (my somtimers is acting up and can't remember his name) grew up w/oysters in his waterfront backyard and tells quite a tale. I was most impressed w/the stories and the shuckin'.

Wound up at Desire. The oysters were plump and delicious. Sat at the bar and watched 'em shucked - horizontally & saving the liquor - excellent.

Still, it's back to Bozo's for my regular fare.
