All I have is star anise... do you think that would work? No fennel either. The larder is bare... lol.... (not!)

Step. Away. From. The. Star. Anise.
We tried Brooklyn Pizza late Sat night. I was only a few bites thru
piece #1 when I got an emergency room call. Packed it all up to go.
Finally got home around noon, slept & ate a slice late Sunday night that MFDC heated on the pizza stone. Happens every time.
I like way better the next day. Nice & crispy. And tomato sauce is not wet.
I am thinking that he didn't wrap up the pizza, just stuck the box in the fridge.
I'll bet it dried out the toppings somewhat. Makes for a less soggy crust.

Yvette, thanks for the post. I live very near there and have always dismissed Papa's Pizza based on the buffet advertisements they leave on my door step. I was picturing pizza buffets Cici's or Pizza Inn that used to be on Severn/Vets.

I had that image in my mind also. We had gone to the Italian Pie, across the street one day, yuck yuck and yuck. I said, oh well, this could not be any worse. I was so pleasently suprised.
Order off the menu even if the buffet is there, well worth it.

Yuck Yuck Yuck definitely describes that Italian Pie. It is SUPER convenient (I live in the neighborhood back behind there that runs to Power Blvd). But I won't eat there. Can't do it.
Thanks Yvette! I'm kind of excited. I think I'll take the kids there for lunch Saturday while my husband is teaching.
