I love a good shrimp or oyster pobpy, on fresh, crisp french bread. But, I have notjhing against a good sammie on s soft roll or bun. I agree with others that the contrast between the crisp/crunchy seafood and the soft bread can be enjoyable.

I vote for heresy.

Soft bread would "mush it up"... lol, that's the only way I can describe it. Crunchy fresh baguette or french bread for moi, please!
