Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...
When was the last "real" snowfall in the GNO area? Christmas 2004. December 22-26, 1989 and December 31, 1963 before that.

Re: Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...
My poor little dogs have become southern weinies. We've been here a little over a year and they're forgotten about the snow and ice of the midwest. I let them out earlier and had to practically drag them off of the patio! A couple of years ago, Doug was working out at Ft Riley, KS and we were stuck in a hotel...we had to dig a path to let Willie go potty. It must have traumatized him...he wants NOTHING to do with this white stuff. Me..I'm enjoying it! I've been hoping that it will snow when I go home to Kentucky for the holidays.

The Mississippi River levee is covered in snow - looks awesome!!
The best snow I remember was in 89. I was living in Thibodaux and we had 4 inches on the ground.
Wish I had a sled!

I have foor to ceiling windows in my office above the drive through........it is really beautiful. I only hope I think that way when I have to drive home. My husband just called and our power is out so at least I am warm here. There are a lot of downed limbs and such around. It is actually nice being at work when everyone else stays home. Drink coffee, read the paper, do a little work, get on the internet.

I guess "Miracle" on Fulton St is a little anticlimatic.

Gorgeous, Yvette!
It really feels like Christmas, doesn't it?
I've had a blast today, cooking soups, reading a good mystery novel and snoozing. I LOVE 'snow' days.
