Speaking of LaBoca

Post by RouxTheDay »

At the poker table on Wednesday night a man from Florida or Alabama was asking for restaurant recommendations. He said he comes to town pretty often and had done all of the touristy spots. I wrote down LaBoca, RioMar and August on my business card and told him that LaBoca is my absolute favorite....
I just rec'd this note via email:

Thanks for the suggestion at the poker table the other night to eat at LaBoca, and better yet thanks for the tip to order the skirt steak. Best i have ever had. I even took a local with me who had never been and he was thoroughly impressed. Good luck at the poker tables.

Thanks

David

That's what I remember. But you (kcdixiecat) got me all confused this morning.

I'd love LaBoca's recipe for gnocchi. Yum yum yum.
