Huevos Rancheros at Stop 9
Huevos Rancheros at Stop 9
At Bam Bam's (BTW, where is he? actually having to work for a change?) suggestion, I have tried this place a couple of times in the past month and have had the huevos both times. They are very good. The salsa on top alone is worth trying. The eggs will be sunny side unless you specify otherwise. He puts a little parmesan on the black beans which is a touch I like. I haven't had a chance to partake of the menu any further yet. Service has been a bit lackluster both times, but no major gaffes. There is off-street parking which is a plus in this neighborhood.

popped in for a quick snack; the hummus plate, tapenade plate and the stuffed sweet peppers are worth trying.
the folks next to me were noshing on the caprese sandwich and the stuffed burger; both looked fantastic.
the snoballs were also good.

The omelets are very good, as well. I had the Mediterranean, and it was terrific. The service set up is strange and takes some getting used to, but the food is worth it.
I understand they do a periodic tour bus business. I kind of hope this is true. Every time I've been, business is not exactly hopping.
