Restaurant Report

Post by Shep »

We were looking for somewhere good to eat, tired of cooking. I called Pellicano's, Chef Cody says not tonight but Sat night, shucks. I called Dick and Jenney's, no wait come on in. I had oysters with slaw and remoulade, about 10 oysters for an app, very good. A double cut porkchop, slow roasted with a great char to it very good. She had duck breast and chorizo sausage and garlic mashed potatoes w/ fried green tomatoes for a app. We drank a Poppiano chianti which went just fine. I really never get a bad meal here and I was looking for a sure thing, my first choice being Pellicano but I will catch him this week.

Had Vega Tapas last night and will be at Pellicano tonight.

I always love Dick and Jenny's too, glad it was good as always.

We always enjoy D&J but if we can't sit in the plate room, we pass (or wait). Such a different dining experience.
