What about Green Goddess? They are open 'til 3:30 for brunch . . . .if she really is spending her whole trip in Metairie, I think you should eat in the Quarter. Even if you were to walk through the Quarter from Domenica, that's not exactly the prettiest part of the Quarter that she'd be seeing first, you know? Also, I adore Domenica, but I don't know if I'd do that for someone's only Orleans Parish meal. :-) The decor and the food are not "New Orleans-y" enough for that, in my opinion.
