The Three Muses

Post by RouxTheDay »

Our waiter/bartender at Boucherie last night was Chirs Starnes.
He's helping out there until his new place The Three Muses opens on Frenchman in the next few weeks.

He said it will be more of a jazz club with food but with great food....his chef is Daniel Esses.

THREE MUSES
Chef Dan Esses has teamed up with Boucherie bartender Chris Starnes and chanteuse Miss Sophie Lee to create Three Muses (536 Frenchmen St.), a bar/venue/small plates spot. Look for an end of May/early June open, pending any of the usual construction/permit/liquor license/restaurant opening delays. Esses’, who spent time in the kitchens of Peristyle, Café Degas, and Buddakan in New York, says his menu is “Mediterranean with Asian influences”. Think: Lobster egg rolls, lamb sliders and bulgogi.
“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."

If it's where I'm thinking of, that particular location has been closed for as long as I can remember. This could turn into something big.

I'm a diehard Frenchman Street rat. I'll make a point to drop in and report back. After six months, of course.
