Sometimes, It's The Little Things...

Post by Low-N-Slow »

Stopped at the Bud's Broiler on Clearview for a quick bite this evening. We both ordered the onion rings. Granted, Bud's doesn't have the world's greatest onion rings, but we prefer them to french fries. As we were about to pay, we were told they were out of onion rings. No problem, we'll take fries instead. We waited for our number to be called, and when I picked our order up from the counter, I noted a small extra packet secured with a toothpick on the tray. When I got back to the table and opened it, there inside were four small, perfectly fried, golden brown onion rings-- apparently the last in the house.

You mean in addition to the fries? If so, that is a very nice story.

Yes, that's what I meant by extra packet.

Sorry, Low-N-Slow. I can be a little slow myself sometimes.
